Editorial policy
Vibrant Cinema Review aims to be careful, independent and clear about the difference between what a film shows and what we infer from it. Our writing should help readers look more closely, not ask them to take an unsupported claim on trust.
Accuracy and interpretation
We check names, titles and factual details against reliable material available to us, and we describe visual evidence as specifically as we can. Interpretations are presented as readings, not as facts about a filmmaker's private intentions unless those intentions are clearly documented.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial choices remain separate from commercial relationships. Sponsored or partner material is labelled plainly where it appears; payment or collaboration does not purchase a favourable editorial assessment, and relevant relationships are made clear to readers.
Corrections
If we find a meaningful error, we correct it and make the change clear when appropriate. Readers can send corrections through the Contact page, with the article title and a short explanation of the issue.
Images and illustrations
Illustrations may be AI-generated and will be identified as such where they appear. Illustrative images are not presented as film frames or as documentary evidence.
A film's look is part of its telling
We attend to the visible choices on screen, with room for curiosity, context and more than one way of seeing.
